DISCOVER DETAILS OF OUR READING PROGRAM

1️⃣ LEARNING LETTERS
Your child will develop a strong foundation in letter recognition, letter-sound knowledge, and other pre-reading skills. You will guide them as they practice writing letters, develop phonemic awareness, and deepen their understanding of letter sounds through interactive games.

2️⃣ BLENDING LETTERS
In this phase, your kid will use their knowledge of letter-sounds to begin blending letters together to read words. Your child will become adept at using our sound sliders to support them in decoding words with short vowel sounds and both slow & fast consonants.

3️⃣ READING BOOKS
Once your child has a foundation in word-blending skills, it’s time to read books! Together you will read fun and engaging stories, reveal hidden pictures, and check for understanding by answering comprehension questions.

4️⃣ ADVANCED DECODING
In this phase, your kid will learn about long vowel sounds, digraphs, and irregular sight words, as well as how to approach common types of punctuation.

5️⃣ READING FLUENCY
In this final phase of reading development, your child will learn to read smoothly and accurately by expanding their sight word knowledge, vocabulary, and exposure to more complex text.

I don't mind paying for quality educational software, but I disagree with the subscription model unless it is tied to tangible new content. I'd much rather pay for yearly lesson packs or curriculum expansions that I own forever. I completed the 7 day trail and it was fun to see my 4.5 year olds cogs spinning in her head and she did enjoy it. But I did not subscribe and will look at other options in the market before committing.

That's a fair preference! You may not have seen that we offer a lifetime plan — a one-time purchase with permanent access, no subscription, and curriculum expansions (like our recent Phase 2 lessons) are included as they roll out. Email [email protected] if you'd like help with it.

We have tried multiple reading games for additional fun help. However I watched an ad about this one and was extremely skeptical. Figured we'd end up deleting it before the free trial subscription ran out. However we thoroughly enjoy it! 1 lesson a day is perfect. Kiddo LOVES dancing to the song and he's retaining all the info. 100/100 recommend!

My son learned to read with this app. It is fun and engaging The characters rewards was something he looked forward to. I'll suggest addi more on the last 10 lessons and the finale. I wish all the additional activities were in digital format. it would be easier for us parents and our children could do them all using a tablet or in a touch computer screen. The last update where they needed to "write" the sound of the word was fantastic! and he seemed excited about reviewing the lessons learned.
